About Us

This is our 38th anniversary year.  We sincerely thank all of our many customers for their loyalty and support.  We are also very thankful and appreciative of all the men and women that work or have worked for Steak-Out in Huntsville and Madison. They truly are the heart of the company.  We are very proud to be a part of this wonderful community.

Steak-Out Char-Broiled Delivery opened on March 21, 1986, on Jordan Lane in Huntsville, Alabama. It was a family owned, founded, and operated by David and Rhonda Martin along with David’s brother Danny and his wife Elisa. The menu consisted of char-grilled steaks, burgers, chicken, and salads. The goal was to deliver hot, fresh, quality American meals.

The Martins opened a second location in South Huntsville in March of 1987.  A total of 5 locations are currently open and serving Madison County.  Steak-Out employs approximately 250 people and 140+ have over five years of service with the company.

In 1992 Steak-Out proudly received the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award. In 2017 the Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Association awarded them the Lifetime Achievement Award.

David, Rhonda, and Danny Martin continue to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.  Carey Lamb is the area manager for Madison County.
